The OECD Forum
29-30 May 2018
Again this year, the annual OECD Forum will see over 2000 attendees from government - including heads of state - the private sector, trade unions, academia, civil society and the media meet at the OECD's own conference centre in Paris.
In 2018, hundreds of high level speakers and a diverse mixture of traditional and innovative session formats will explore the theme 'What Brings Us Together', with topics including international cooperation, inclusive growth, and digitalisation. While the programme is still being confirmed, past heavy-hitting speakers include the likes of Helen Clark, Yvo de Boer, and Elizabeth Nyamayaro.
As well as attending the conference, our delegates will have the chance to meet with IGOs and NGOs in Paris to explore the Forum's issues in more depth, and work out where our world's headed. Naturally, there'll also be some free time to explore the delights of France's capital city!

We're thrilled to have our 2017 World Bank and IMF Annual Meetings alumna Bhavya lead our OECD Forum delegation! Bhavya is passionate about reducing inequalities and currently works at the South Auckland Social Investment Board as a Business Analyst/Evaluator. Her goal is to be involved with public policy on a global scale to tackle issues such as extreme poverty and health inequalities both between and within countries. Bhavya has a keen interest in the Sustainable Development Goals and how youth can be mobilised to ensure governments honour their commitment. You’ll probably hear Bhavya before you see her as she’s always singing and strongly believes every person has a story to share and a lesson to teach.
